UK Project Development Director, Ramboll Consulting

Paul James is the UK Project Development Director for on of the leading global Waste-to-Energy consultancies: Ramboll. He is known throughout Europe for his work with European Commission as the task leader for the production of the 2006 EU BAT Reference Note. He is an Industrial Chemist, with some 20 years experience of waste and environmental management.

As well as his work for Government organisations, he has been responsible for overseeing incineration operations in industry, and has specific expertise in EfW emissions control technologies, impact assessment and communications strategies. During the last 5 years most of his work has focussed upon UK waste infrastructure development projects for both the public and private sectors.
