Ross Hilliard

Bid Director, Shanks Waste Solutions

Ross joined Shanks in 1991 initially working for the plc holding company before becoming Commercial Director of Rechem International Ltd. in 1995 and then Shanks Chemical Services Ltd.

In 2000 he rejoined Shanks Group plc as Director of Compliance and Risk Management. In 2004 he joined Shanks UK operations with responsibility for property, planning, environmental and insurance matters.

From April, 2008 he has had responsibility for developing PFI/PPP business in Scotland and the occasional foray into England, Wales and Ireland.

Ross is chair of the Regulation Committee of ESA (Environmental Services Association).
