I have been actively involved with Valpak for some years, since making the decision, on behalf of Miele, to arrange our compliance with the Packaging Waste Regulations via Valpak's Compliance Scheme route.

When the WEEE Directive started to make its presence felt I decided to become more closely involved, and accepted an invitation from Valpak to join the Members WEEE Council and play a part in helping to formulate policy in this important and potentially costly area for Miele. More recently I have joined Valpak as a Non-executive Director.
