Gareth Stace

Head of Climate & Environment Policy, EEF

Gareth Stace is Head of Climate & Environment Policy at EEF and manages the Climate & Environment (C&E) Policy team which covers all aspects of C&E that affect UK manufacturers. He also chairs the Manufacturers' Climate Change Group, a group that represents all manufacturing sectors providing a united voice on climate change issues to government.

Gareth graduated from Kings College London in 1999 with a BSc in Environmental Science and is a Full Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).

He joined EEF in February 2007 having worked for seven years with Dairy UK as its Environment Manager, where he was responsible for all aspects of environmental policy and activities. He has been involved in negotiating and running a sector Climate Change Agreement and developing sector guidance for the Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC) Regulations, and has managed a Packaging Compliance Scheme.
