Vic Cocker CBE

Vic Cocker CBE is an Honorary Fellow of CIWM and was the founder Chairman of WRAP which he chaired from 2000 to May 2008.

Prior to that he was Managing Director of Severn Trent Water Ltd and then Group Chief Executive of Severn Trent Plc which had interests in environmental services and waste disposal through its then subsidiary Biffa Waste Services. He is an economist who has developed an interest in environmental, resource efficiency and climate change issues and who ,as a member of ACBE , was involved in making recommendations to Government on the development of the landfill tax in 1996 -2000 .

A lifelong supporter of the charity WaterAid he became its Chair from 2001 to 2007.
